Welcome to my Blog

My name is Orlando and I have been working on and off on my family history/genealogy form many years. I began in my early twenties. I had a desire to learn and know where my family came from, “where I came from”. My family is Puerto Rican, from Lares, P.R. a small mountain town in the central highland of island. I was born and raised in Chicago a first generation American. My English is way better than my Spanish.

I consider myself an amateur genealogist. I am an engineer by profession and not a writer. This is my first Blog.

I hope to be able to write about my experiences and adventures in tracking down and exposing my family as well as my wife Polish family. I know that they are out there, just waiting for someone to find them, and bring them back to life.
